Gangs of WIsconsin

Josef Whitney, BS, Police Officer

Gangs continue to become more prevalent in our communities, and they are no longer limited to the ‘big cities.’  As a result, we as EMS providers are more likely to be involved with people who are involved in gangs, or those that have been injured because of violent gang activity.  This presentation will help you as an emergency responder understand what a gang is, how gang members identify themselves, help you identify when you may be in a gang related situation.   In addition, you will be enlightened to the tactics law enforcement officials are using to help stop the spread of gang activity.
