Infectious diseases are an issue EMS providers must deal with on a regular basis. Too often, we treat this issue as out of sight, out of mind. Dr. Mejicano will help raise our awareness of infectious diseases that can be transmitted at the point of care in emergency situations.  He will also discuss common and uncommon infections found in Wisconsin, and describe the changing nature of infectious diseases with regards to new and emerging diseases.

In this session, participants are provided down to earth information on various types of stethoscopes and how to use them to get the most out of patient assessment. In this “Ear Opening” session, new and  improved methods and techniques are presented and lung and heart sounds are also played aloud so all participants can hear the sounds. Wide Complex Tachycardias
